Workshop “Spreading Fragrance and Radiance” that TCOM dedicated to the female staff on the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day October 20 brought a gentle and warm fragrant atmosphere.
Right from the moment they stepped into the workshop room, everyone could not hide their excitement. On the long table that was delicately decorated, fresh flowers along with a variety of colorful and fragrant materials had been prepared: romantic dried flower petals, essential oils ranging from relaxing scents such as Lavender and Lemongrass to sweet scents such as Rose and Vanilla, together with many lovely candle containers.
The excitement of the female staff was the most visible thing. Everyone tried different scents, chose colors, and mixed essential oils together.
Under the dedicated guidance of the expert, the candle-making process became a fascinating creative journey. From melting the wax and adding essential oils in the perfect ratio to pouring the wax into molds and decorating the surface with dried flowers, everything was carried out carefully and meticulously.
Everyone’s face was radiant; their eyes sparkled with concentration and joy when they created a product with their own personal mark. “My finished product is a combination of pine wood scent and a little coffee scent. It may sound strange, but the smell is very chill and suits my style,” a female staff member shared proudly while holding a candle cup with dried flowers arranged skillfully.
The scented candle-making workshop was not simply an entertainment activity. It carried a deeper meaning that TCOM wanted to send to its important half. It was a gift of relaxation and healing. Modern women often face pressure from work and family responsibilities. Being immersed in a world of fragrance and creating a handmade item that requires focus and carefulness is truly a wonderful therapy for the mind. The quiet moments of sitting, enjoying the scent, and waiting for the wax to solidify help everyone temporarily put aside stress and find peace and calmness for the soul.
Each scented candle cup is unique, just like every woman is a unique individual with her beauty and personality. TCOM wants to affirm that it appreciates not only the contributions at work but also the passions, interests, and unique charm of each person. This handmade gift carries spiritual value and contains the effort, time, and emotions of the creator.
When the workshop ended, the female staff left with radiant smiles, holding sparkling and lovely scented candle cups in their hands, the results of their own work. It was not only a decorative item but also a beautiful memory and a sincere expression of appreciation from TCOM.
